Here’s a simple, foolproof No-Knead Garlic Bread — crusty on the outside, soft inside, and loaded with buttery garlic flavor. No kneading, no mixer!

⭐ No-Knead Garlic Bread (Easy)

Ingredients

For the Bread

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp instant yeast
  • 1 ½ cups warm water

Garlic Butter Topping

  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 3–4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp parsley (fresh or dried)
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes, parmesan, or Italian seasoning

⭐ Instructions

1. Make the Dough (No Kneading!)

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and instant yeast.
  2. Add warm water and mix with a spoon until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Cover with plastic wrap or a towel and let sit at room temperature for 8–12 hours (overnight).
    • The dough will rise and look bubbly.

2. Shape & Preheat

  1. Place parchment paper inside a bowl or on the counter.
  2. Pour the dough onto a floured surface and gently fold it once or twice into a round shape. No kneading needed.
  3. Set dough on parchment, seam down, and rest 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside.

3. Bake

  1. Carefully place the dough (with parchment paper) into the hot Dutch oven.
  2. Cover and bake 30 minutes.
  3. Remove lid and bake 10–15 minutes more, until golden brown.

4. Add Garlic Butter

  1. Mix melted butter, garlic, olive oil, parsley, and salt.
  2. Brush generously over the hot bread right when it comes out of the oven.
  3. Optional: sprinkle parmesan or Italian seasoning on top.

⭐ Serve

Best eaten warm with pasta, soup, salad, or straight up!
