Delicious Easy Homemade Pancakes

Posted on November 27, 2025 by Admin
Here’s a fun, cozy breakfast treat — Sausage Dipped Pancakes Delight!
Think homemade pancake-covered sausage bites (like DIY corn dogs but with breakfast flavors). Easy, kid-friendly, and perfect for dipping in syrup!

⭐ Sausage Dipped Pancakes Delight

Ingredients

  • 8–12 breakfast sausage links (pork or turkey)

  • 1 cup pancake mix (any brand or homemade)

  • ¾ cup milk

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tbsp melted butter (optional for richer flavor)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

  • Wooden skewers or toothpicks (optional)

  • Maple syrup or dipping sauce of choice

⭐ Instructions

1. Cook the Sausage

  • Pan-fry or air-fry sausage links until fully cooked and browned.

  • Let cool slightly.

  • If desired, insert small wooden skewers/toothpicks to make dipping easier.

2. Make the Pancake Batter

In a bowl, whisk together:

  • Pancake mix

  • Milk

  • Egg

  • Butter (optional)

  • Vanilla (optional)

You want the batter slightly thicker than normal pancake batter.
If too thin, add 1–2 tbsp more pancake mix.

3. Dip the Sausages

  • Pour batter into a tall glass or jar for easy dipping.

  • Dip each cooked sausage into the batter, coating fully.

4. Cook (Two Options)

🟦 Option A: Pan-Fry

  1. Heat a nonstick pan with a little oil or butter.

  2. Place each batter-coated sausage on the pan and cook 2–3 minutes per side, until golden.

  3. Rotate to brown all sides.

🟧 Option B: Air Fry

  1. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil.

  2. Place dipped sausages on parchment or silicone liner.

  3. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway.

5. Serve

Serve warm with:

  • Maple syrup

  • Honey butter

  • Cinnamon sugar dusting

  • Or even spicy honey for a sweet-heat combo

⭐ Variations

🧀 Cheesy Version

Add ¼ cup shredded cheddar to the batter.

🔥 Spicy Version

Mix ½ tsp cayenne or hot honey into the batter.

🍁 Maple Pancake

Replace 2 tbsp milk with maple syrup.

🥞 Mini Bites

Cut sausage links into chunks and dip each for bite-size pieces.
