Here’s a fresh, zesty Cilantro-Lime-Avocado Salsa that’s perfect for tacos, grilled meats, chips, or as a topping for bowls. It’s creamy, bright, and packed with flavor—think guacamole meets pico de gallo meets salsa verde!


🥑 Cilantro-Lime-Avocado Salsa

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados, diced

  • 1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

  • 1 lime, juiced (more to taste)

  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and finely diced (or keep seeds for heat)

  • 1 small onion, finely diced (white or red)

  • 2 Roma tomatoes, seeded & diced

  • 1–2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1–2 tablespoons olive oil (optional, adds silkiness)

  • ½ teaspoon salt (more to taste)

  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

  • Optional: 1–2 tablespoons water for a looser, more “salsa-like” texture

  • Optional: ½ teaspoon cumin for a deeper flavor

  • Optional: ½ avocado more, puréed for a creamier dip


🍃 Instructions

  1. Prep Veggies:
    Dice the avocado, tomatoes, onion, and jalapeño. Chop the cilantro finely.

  2. Combine:
    In a bowl, gently mix all ingredients.
    (If you want a smoother salsa, pulse everything in a blender or food processor.)

  3. Add Lime & Seasonings:
    Add lime juice, salt, pepper, garlic, and olive oil.
    Taste and adjust—more lime = brighter, more salt = fuller flavor.

  4. Rest (Optional):
    Let it sit 10 minutes so flavors meld.
