Here’s a delicious, versatile Creamy Chicken & Carrot Spread recipe—perfect for sandwiches, wraps, crackers, or as a dip!


🥕 Creamy Chicken & Carrot Spread

Serves 4–6 • Ready in 15 minutes (if chicken is already cooked)


🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups cooked chicken, shredded or finely chopped
    (rotisserie, poached, grilled, or leftover)

  • 1 cup carrots, finely shredded

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt)

  • 1–2 tbsp sour cream (optional, for extra creaminess)

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1–2 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 small garlic clove, grated (optional)

  • 2–3 tbsp fresh herbs (dill, parsley, or chives), chopped

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Optional add-ins:

    • ¼ cup finely diced celery

    • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan

    • A pinch of smoked paprika

    • A splash of hot sauce


🔧 Instructions

1. Prep the base

In a medium bowl, mix together:

  • cream cheese

  • mayonnaise

  • lemon juice

  • mustard

  • (optional) sour cream

Beat until smooth and creamy.

2. Add the chicken & carrots

Stir in:

  • shredded chicken

  • shredded carrots

  • herbs

  • (optional) garlic, celery, paprika, Parmesan

Mix well until the spread is evenly combined.

3. Taste & season

Add:

  • salt

  • black pepper

  • extra lemon or mustard if you want more brightness or tang

4. Chill (optional but recommended)

Refrigerate 30 minutes for flavors to meld.


🥪 Ways to Serve It

  • Sandwiches: spread on toasted bread with lettuce or cucumber

  • Wraps: roll in a tortilla with spinach

  • Dip: serve with crackers, pita chips, or veggie sticks

  • Snack cups: spoon into celery sticks

  • On toast: top with fresh dill or cracked pepper
