Here’s a classic, creamy fudge recipe, written with clear headings and simple steps.

Classic Fudge

Ingredients (Makes ~16 squares)

  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, or almonds)
  • Optional: pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Pan

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Lightly grease the pan with butter or non-stick spray.

2. Melt the Chocolate Mixture

  1. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
  2. Stir constantly until melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract, optional nuts, and a pinch of salt.

3. Pour into Pan

  1. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
  2. Spread evenly with a spatula.

4. Chill

  1. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  2. Lift fudge out using the parchment/foil and cut into squares.

Tips

  • For extra creamy fudge, use high-quality chocolate.
  • Flavor variations: swirl in peanut butter, caramel, or a teaspoon of espresso powder.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

I can also give you:

  • No-bake peanut butter fudge
  • Sugar-free fudge for diabetics
  • Chocolate walnut fudge
