🧀 Classic Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Ingredients

2 slices of bread (white, sourdough, whole wheat — your choice)

2–3 slices of cheese (Cheddar, American, Swiss, Gruyère, etc.)

1–2 tbsp butter (softened)

Instructions

Butter the bread:
Spread butter on one side of each slice. This will be the outside of the sandwich. -
Assemble:
Place cheese between the un-buttered sides so the buttered sides face out. -
Heat the pan:
Use medium-low heat. Too hot, and the bread burns before the cheese melts. -
Cook:
Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook 2–4 minutes per side until:-
Bread is golden brown
