🍯 Honey Bun Cake

1 box yellow cake mix

4 large eggs

¾ cup sour cream

⅔ cup vegetable oil

1 cup brown sugar, packed

2 tsp ground cinnamon
Glaze

2 cups powdered sugar

4 tbsp milk (add more if needed)

1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Make the cake batter

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.

In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, sour cream, and oil until smooth.
2. Mix the filling

In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon.
3. Assemble

Pour half the cake batter into the prepared pan.

Sprinkle the cinnamon-brown sugar mixture evenly over it.

Cover with the remaining cake batter and gently swirl with a butter knife (don’t overmix).
4. Bake

Bake for 28–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
5. Add the glaze

While the cake is warm, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.

Pour the glaze evenly over the warm cake so it seeps in.
💡 Tips

Add ½ cup chopped pecans to the cinnamon layer for crunch.

Replace some of the milk in the glaze with honey for extra honey-bun flavor.
