Ingredients
For the Bread
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp instant yeast
- 1 ½ cups warm water
Garlic Butter Topping
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 3–4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1–2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp parsley (fresh or dried)
- ¼ tsp salt
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes, parmesan, or Italian seasoning
⭐ Instructions
1. Make the Dough (No Kneading!)
- In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and instant yeast.
- Add warm water and mix with a spoon until a shaggy dough forms.
- Cover with plastic wrap or a towel and let sit at room temperature for 8–12 hours (overnight).
- The dough will rise and look bubbly.
2. Shape & Preheat
- Place parchment paper inside a bowl or on the counter.
- Pour the dough onto a floured surface and gently fold it once or twice into a round shape. No kneading needed.
- Set dough on parchment, seam down, and rest 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside.
3. Bake
- Carefully place the dough (with parchment paper) into the hot Dutch oven.
- Cover and bake 30 minutes.
- Remove lid and bake 10–15 minutes more, until golden brown.
4. Add Garlic Butter
- Mix melted butter, garlic, olive oil, parsley, and salt.
