raw chicken breasts

Posted on December 8, 2025 by Admin
So you’re starting with raw chicken breasts. Here’s the simplest 4-ingredient slow cooker magic using them:

Ingredients:

  • Raw chicken breasts (about 2–3 large ones)

  • 1 packet of ranch seasoning mix (or 2–3 tablespoons homemade)

  • 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese

  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup

Instructions:

  1. Place the raw chicken breasts in the slow cooker.

  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning over the chicken.

  3. Add the cream cheese (cut into chunks so it melts evenly).

  4. Pour the cream of chicken soup on top.

  5. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.

  6. About 30 minutes before serving, shred the chicken right in the slow cooker with two forks and stir to combine with the sauce.

💡 Tip: If you like a thicker sauce, you can remove the lid in the last 30 minutes to let some liquid evaporate.

This method gives you creamy, juicy shredded chicken that tastes like pure comfort.

If you want, I can also give a shortcut version for super tender chicken that shreds instantly. Do you want me to do that?
